RFL, son...

Unreal time...I didn't take many pics, but I know they're out there. We partied like animals, rode some incredible roads and I made some new good friends. Thanks to the guys from Death Science for the whole thing and to everyone else (you know who you are) for the good times. Hit me up and don't be strangers.

Packed...

Ready to ride...I hope it goes off without a hitch.

Shop Fridge...

Chopper Dave had a post where he wanted pics of people's shop fridges. Here's mine.

Who's ready for the RFL?

I need to say a little prayer before I leave so this thing will stay together. Hopefully it performs like a champ and we make it to Cherokee and the rest of the way without any hiccups.

Lucky Sum Bitch...

So ole J-rod wins again. He said hell you might win something on the ride. I told him, I will more than likely be the guy who gets a DUI. Anyways congrats.

An oldy...

Max Cavalera should rejoin Sepultura and they should release another experimental album like Roots. Bands like Ankla have tried to fill some pretty big shoes by mixing Latin elements with metal, but to me it just comes off more Latin metal than the mix of sludgy grooves with tribal beats.

Thanks Man...

Timebomb Tuesday...

Merle is a icon in my eyes. Wish country was still country instead of the pop shit today.Cheers!

Not Again...

So I had to tear back into the primary again. One of the inner primary bolts pulled out yesterday and made a mess of the back end of my bike. It wouldn't be right if something wasn't fucked up. I am getting super quick at tearing it down though it took all of thirty minutes tonight. I will be at the RFL on thursday just a little hiccup.

Knock 'em out the box, Kid...

Surveillance photo from the 2007 altercation starring Kid Rock at an Atlanta area Waffle House.

God I love my city.

Time for a Beer Post...

It's been a while since I've put up a beer post, so I figured I would break out a bottle that's been in the reserve for a while.

I got this bottle of Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary Charlie, Fred & Ken's Bock back on the 4th of July. I've kept it without even consideration for when I would open it, especially since it was being refrigerated and not cellar-ed (even though I don't have a "cellar") like others I have.

Sierra Nevada decided to come out with several beers this year for their 30th Anniversary and this was one of the available brews. The differing beers are called their "collaboration of pioneering brewers" and have a unique approach to abnormal concoctions. This is a Helles Imperial Lager and it light in color and body. It had a great malty, sweet flavor, but was balanced well enough to not be overbearing with an aftertaste. It's definitely the kind of beer that you could sit down and drink several of without flinching, but it's the not the kind of beer that you should do that with.

If you can find one of the Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary brews, give it a whirl. Even those that tend to shy away from higher end beers will most likely find that these are a lot more palatable than a lot of the more extreme projects and specialty beers that brewers make.

Coming back together...

Got the motor back Saturday (thanks to timebomb) and have a couple of more things to do before it's buttoned up. Gotta have at least one day of shakin' er down before we hit the bricks for Cherokee on Friday to meet the RFL crew.

Finally....

Last night went for a ride. Longest I have been on my bike in 3 months. It sure did feel good. The bike is dialed runs strong no leaks anymore. I went round and around with the inner primary the seal for the starter shaft. Headed into the ATL today for some good times with friends. This song is one of those that pops in My head as i ride so just decided to share. RFL this week be there or be a square. Cheers!

Go Bravos!!!

Lincecum is making quick work of them so far, but some good fielding by Infante has it 0-0 right now. Hopefully they work it out.

WOW...

The Horse always has hot chicks. This month the centerfold is a "nice lady".

Tattooed seats...

Every once in a while I get emails from people who meander across this blog and have something interesting to share. Yesterday I got an email from Alex Higgins (www.electricsolos.com) showing some of his tattooed leather seats. Now I'll be quick to admit that Christian is a friend of mine, so I'm loyal to him when it comes to leather work, but I've gotta say that these tattooed seats are pretty rad and look particularly plush compared to tooled saddle leather. Check out his site if you're interested.

New 2011 848 color preview...

Done...when they got rid of white in 2010, I thought I'd get a stealth in spring and get some red Marchesinis for variety...then I see this. In 2011 they're offering white with red frame and wheels. I'm sold.
