I decided to go ahead and pull the motor and run through things since I noticed the leak...and the leak was a blown piece of shit head gasket. I'm gonna button it all up, make sure it's tight like a dolphins ass and get it back on the road. Shit happens, but I'm glad it happened while it was apart and not when I was out on a long ride.
I think you made the right call. Riding season coming up, you never want that lingering in your mind. Just didn't want to sway you in a direction you did'nt want to go.
ReplyDeleteWell, the good thing is, you can see where the fire ring was and it wasn't leaking into the cylinder, but it was blown. I thought I had given Hartman Cometic composites when I took them the motor, but it had blue teflon composites on it. I'll make sure that it has the Cometic on it this time.
