Finished up the seat and a couple of other things this weekend.
We were making the rear bracket and I realized that the pan portion sat too close to the frame when the frame when the mounting tube was parallel to the frame. Solution? The third pic shows that I rolled the pan a little more (it's actually more comfortable) and then added some spacers. That will allow Christian to be able to properly wrap the seat anyway once I send it to him. I also put more radius in the sides since I located the rear mounting points. Good deal...another part done and the light at the end of the tunnel is visible.

WHY IS THE SEAT PAN PIVOT ROD SO LONG?
JUST NOT UNDERSTANDING THE REASON YOU MADE IT LIKE THAT?
WAS IT BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO USE TABS THAT WERE ALREADY THERE?
FILL ME IN!
Yup...used the stock hinge mounting point on the tank mounting brackets. Decided to do something different than what every jackass out there is doing with their wannabe Bates seats. Most of it will be covered by the tanks and it adds a little flair to an otherwise boring part.
