I'm in the process of doing this, but from what Irish Rich said, the Pollak marine switch will allow me to use the threaded "M" terminal as a ground for the magneto...that's pretty rad. Everything on with the same key switch that I had on it before. It was a simple matter of pulling the other ignition and now I just have to run one more wire.
Now to figure out whether or not to get rid of the battery and replace it with a capacitor.

Yes sir, that's right. The wire from the magneto goes to your brass threaded "M" terminal on the Pollak switch, and the ground wire goes from your silver threaded "M" lug to a good chassis ground. Shut off the switch, ground the mag. But, you know that somebody can start your bike by just cutting the mag's ground wire, right?
And, because I like you (sorta), here's the capacitor you need. It's a Mallory (USA made), and it's PN CGS452U030R2C. 4,500 uF, 30VDC.
It's the baby blue one all the motorcycle places put their sticker over the Mallory name, and sell you for $40.-$50. You can find it online, or from any good electronic supply house for around $16.00
