First ride...

Obviously not my first ride on this bike, but my first ride since I got new eyes. Last Thursday I had lasik surgery to fix my shitty vision. The ability to see as normal happens nearly immediately, but the recovery time takes a while. I decided yesterday to wheel around a bit for the first time since then and although cold, it was a great feeling.

I hope all of your Christmas dreams come true. One of mine is to be transported back to Club La Vela some time in the late 90's when my body spit out a hangover like I was king of the world. He strikes again...

Going to rebuild heads and I find this beauty. Blazed for her pleasure. I've seen more hack shit on this bike than pretty much any I've encountered.

The name is Dumace...

So the guy I bought this bike from was obviously a hack mechanic that read too much Chop Cult. He shaved the fork legs and gouged them several times only to fill them with bondo and paint over them with a brush. I didn't find this until stripping the lowers with aircraft stripper. What an idiot.
