The Great Misdirect...

Between The Buried and Me came out with their new album this week, titled The Great Misdirect. I've always been a fan of them, but this album is even better than a lot of their old stuff, in my opinion. If you've never heard them, the're progressive metal and the only way I can describe it is a mix between Fusion Jazz and Metalcore...more of the metal though.

Stolen Pic Mufuggin' Friday...

A couple I took from the Jockey Journal...both make me drool.

Pat Kennedy Rocker Boxes...

I'd trade a kidney for a set of these.

Movember...

Some buddies and I have started a team for Movember. Basically we're going to shave our faces bald and grow mustaches for the month of November, all the while raising money for prostate cancer and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Here is info about Movember:
http://us.movember.com/about/

Our team name is the Peach State Fuzz, and here is my personal page.

Feel free to donate, join our team, start your own, whatever...but remember, you get to grow a mustache and it's for a good cause. We'll all get together at the end of the month and have a little throw-down to commemorate it.

Another Bad Creation...

Not the shitty boy band group...Sid's (Jimmy's buddy) bike.

The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party...

This weekend in Jacksonville. I haven't gone since 2007, but here is a fine example of a Florida fan. That fat fold in his head has hair in it...he couldn't get to that shit with a razor.

Xian Leather...

Christian sent me these pics the other day of his experience with the FDNY on 9-11 of this year. I'm not much for the whole theme bike thing, but Christian's leather work is insane and he was more than happy to do this seat since he lives in New York. He said it was a pretty emotional experience for everyone there.

Look at that seat...it's like buttah.

Halloween...

Hell yes. I need to go get a pumpkin to carve. Here's one I did last year:

Slim's Garage...

John had met Jimmy and them down at Barber a couple of weeks ago. As ya'll know, I had a kid that weekend, so I couldn't go. Well, we ran into them at the Hell on Wheels show Satuday and he invited us back to the shop for more beer drinking. He's a nice as shit guy, but doesn't bother with the internet. I told him I was a total dork (and proved it a couple of times) and took pics around his shop for The BDAC. He didn't mind.

Cool old tank.

I wish I had a stack of cases like this.

MMMMM...Morris.

I know that if I get to the point that I'm okay with drinking High Life, I've had too many. That was the case this night too. I need to stop when the tall boys come out.

John's ugly ass.

Slim's '57 in an all '48 roller Pan. So nice.

I was drinking High Life because Eric is the one who made the beer run. He loves High Life.

This '69 was clean as a whistle.

Hell on Wheels...

500th post:

Saturday was Hell on Wheels. Shitty turn out, but altogether ended up being a fun day. We ran into Jimmy from Slim's Garage and his friends and went back to his shop for more beer afterwards.

A critter for the Haints...this was nasty.

What fun drinking at a brewery if you can't do the Laverne & Shirley?

Eric loves beer.

They have trike races with these things.

Tomorrow...

We're gonna try and make it out for this. Come drink beer with us.

Stolen Pic Friday, son...

Stolen from T-Bone at (((NOISE))). He just posted it recently, but this bike is TOO badass. If you don't ever check out that blog, you should.

Just for using his pic, I'll order a velocity stack from him.

The old goat...

Rode her to work today. She's in kick-only mode right now, but she's agreeing with me which is great for my right leg. 96" with no compression releases will kick back like a mofo if you don't hit it just right.

Southern Cycle...

I went up there yesterday to get some stuff. They had this Panhead outside advertised for $9K. 52 motor, ratchet top trans, tin primary, swingarm frame, some modern parts. Pretty ugly, but it would be a start.

It got cold this weekend...

Enter the turbo propane heater.

Little Son of a Bitch...

Things like these make me want to make everything kick only. I replaced this yesterday and now I think the starter motor is shot. Fucking turds.

I've been dragging ass...

On bike posts the past couple of days. I was off and actually working on the Shovel and riding it.

Winter Months Toy...

A little wheeling and dealing and I got this for those days that it's too cold to be in the garage.

In need of...

A stock Harley inner primary for my '80 FXWG. The POS Taiwanese chrome piece on it won't work with my incredibly sweee-eeet tits new outer...there's a big ass gap when the starter shaft is all the way seated in the bearing.

email me...reply here...whatever.

Ducatis and hotties...

More dechroming...

I hit up the air cleaner, even though I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it and I started making a fork brace out of an old Wide Glide fender.
