RB Racing LSR Exhaust...

Anyone got any experience? What's the fun of having a 96" Shovel if it's not putting out max performance? According to the research I've read (which corresponds with everything I learned about cars in all my years of messing with those), a properly designed 2-into-1 exhaust with a merge collector will outperform drag pipes in the lower end of the powerband, which is what most of us use anyway. Drags are great on the highway, and sound good, but if I'm eating up tire-pullin' power, then I'm not happy. Also, being that it's a 4 speed that is fighting over 90mph anyway, then I'm thinking this may be the way to go.

I got these grips from Kraus Motor Co. They're supposed to fit over 1" bars and normal throttle sleeves, but I've got busted blood vessels on my chest from forcing that sumbitch on one of the new Lowbrow Customs throttles. I got it on and they're pretty nice. I'll toss them on the bike tonight.

Free Tank 2...

I got that set of free OEM 3.5 gallons a couple of months ago and decided it was time to start getting them right this weekend. Since someone at some point had decided to booger weld on some flat stock in the place of a broken front upper mount, I wanted to cut it off and have Zach at Saligoe Metal Works make me a mount that is similar to stock.

Look at this piece...and when I say booger welded, I don't mean tacked. I mean 4 lbs. of weld.

Finally Stopped Raining...

I got to pull the scoot out today. It's about damn time. Rain is good, but 3 weeks straight sucks.

Oh yeah, and the mirror...I like the long pole mirror much better than the billet pieces of shit that were on it. Now if everything will come back from powdercoat and my new grips will get here from Kraus, I can start changing more shit.

Ultima 6 Speed for sale...

Brand new with MSO. I pulled it all apart to rebuild with other parts, but went another direction and put back together as original. I installed all new gaskets, a new main gear bearing, new seals, etc. $400 shipped in the continental US.

SCORED...

I scored two, in the box, NOS Superior long stem mirrors for $24 shipped on eBay. I'm bringin' this shit back. It's gangsta compared to shitty billet mirrors. I got one for the Wide Glide and one for the parts shelf.

Damn Rain...

It's been raining for almost two weeks straight here in Metro Atlanta. Some schools are closed today, many of the local roads are closed, and some people have even died (WTF?) from this rain.

My brother-in-law lives on 5 acres in the middle of the town where I went to high school. He has a little 50cc scooter and every time we have a few beers in us, we do time trials around the pond. I tried running full speed and catching some air over this gravel pit last time and came close to breaking my face, but luckily I rode it out.
